Visual Examinations
An eye exam is crucial to determine your optical health. Our optometrists conduct visual examinations using the latest eyecare technology, including the digital retinal scan, which can help detect and manage potential sight and health diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. Our visual examinations take between 20 to 30 minutes are suitable for patients of all ages.

R&B’s Optometrist is home to an extensive range of frames and lenses. As an independent optometry practice, all our frames are handpicked, meaning we only stock the frames that customers love. Whether you already wear glasses or need your first pair, our optometrists will help you find the right fit for your eyes.
Our range of optical and sunglass frames cater to all demographics and come in various colours and styles. In Australia, sunglasses are a must, which is why we stock both (UV) protection and polarisation lenses to help protect your eyes from the sun’s rays.
Dry Eyes
Dry Eye Disease (DED) or Dry Eye Syndrome (DES) is a complex and multi-factorial condition that if left untreated can have a significant impact on your quality of life. Symptoms can vary from person to person but can include ocular redness, grittiness, foreign body sensation, stinging, burning and paradoxically watering due to reflex tears. In extreme cases, it can increase or even result in depression.

At R&B’s Optometrist, we fit contact lenses for patients of various ages and for every prescription, including multifocal lenses, and lenses worn at night.
If you’re sick of wearing glasses, contact lenses are a practical alternative. Depending on your visual needs, we can fit either prescription or coloured contact lenses. Being an independent practice, we are able to source contact lenses from a wide range of manufacturers, giving you the best options possible.
